My name is Arielle Offenbacker and this is my second semester at RIC. I just switched my major to Early Childhood Education from Social Work. I work at a pre-school and that is what made me realize that teaching is what I am supposed to do. One of my goals as a teacher is to be a member of Teachers Without Borders to internationally travel and teach a wide variety of children. I am looking to me a member of an organization or church group that fundraises and travels to multiple countries for weeks or months at a time educating and helping children and families. Semester at Sea is something I am going to be looking to do. It is a designated ship that travels to 8-10 countries the exact months that semesters run AND financial aid covers it! The instructors teach many different fields and majors.
